  1. PN

big improvement to stock trigger, install was straightforward

  2. Michael Hunter

Factory trigger was 5lbs 11ozs, I adjusted the Rifle Basix at 2.5 lbs, it’s a hunting rifle. Fast shipping, I had it in 2 day. Install is easy. Best value for an aftermarket trigger. Very pleased!

  3. Keith

Easy install onto my Ruger Gunsite Scout, much improved pull now.

  4. Barry Scott

Just replaced your trigger on my Ruger M77 Mkll It was a breeze with little or no effort. I used to have a 6 lbs trigger, now it’s a crisp 3 lbs pull. Really improved my rifles accuracy.

  5. Richard Kwiek

Totally awesome. I had about an 8 pound trigger pull on my Ruger M77 mark2. Always shooting high of the bulls eye. After the easy installation I went back to the range and first shot was bulls eye at 100 yards. Thanks for a great product. Would definitely recommend for anyone having heavy trigger pull on a Ruger rifle. Unlike the timminy trigger there is no tooling or filing of the trigger for the safety.

  6. David Harder

I have struggled with the trigger on my M77 for years and spent many hours on the internet looking for a solution.
I came across Rifle Basix, ordered the component, received said component days later, spent 15 minutes on installation and, for the last 2 weeks, wondered why I did not do this years ago.

Thank you for the excellent product and top-level service.

  7. Ryan Schwegman

Fast service, easy to install and much better than the stock trigger!

  8. Zeb

Fast processing and shipping received the trigger in two days. As mentioned, the graphics on installation guide could be improved but overall, easy install. I did not replace the sear, has the slightest travel. Almost feels like a very light, two stage. Crisp. Vast improvement from factory trigger. I also experienced resistance from the trigger guard on the factory stock but when installed on aluminum bedded stock, issue was resolved.

Excellent service, fast shipping, easy installation

Ruger m77 II 270 stainless synthetic stock
    Quality control 1 ⭐️
    Fitment 2 ⭐️
After modification on 2nd trigger 5⭐️
First trigger they sent me that I received trigger function wouldn’t work at all. Plus side they emailed me back in one day and had a replacement in the mail the next day. The second trigger I received the trigger function fine on install and set the desired pull weight and set the saftey relatively easy. But once I installed the action back in the (Factory synthetic stock) the trigger was being engaged when tightening the two trigger gard screws. I had to remove the trigger and remove material of the trigger on the bottom side of the trigger in a none crucial spot the trigger gard was hitting and pushing the trigger to release it once it was properly tightened down in the stock. Was a simple enough fix on it I used a bench grinder to get clearance. And everything works as should now and love it but not very good quality control or a direct drop in.

The factory trigger on my Ruger 77 Mk 2 was a pig. The Rifle basix replacement is a dream. Light, crisp, everything I hoped for when I ordered it. My only complaint is the graphics in the instructions were hard to make sense of. Fortunately the friend who installed the trigger has a lot of experience and made sense of them.

  12. Perry

This was a massive improvement over the factory trigger! Installation was easy. The safety functions as it should. Prior to installing this trigger, this rifle had the worst trigger of any rifle I own by a large margin, and I own several of them. I like light triggers and have installed aftermarket triggers in most of them. This is the first Rifle Basix trigger I have tried. It’s great, and the price was lower than other options. I have already recommended it to a friend with the same rifle. He shot mine and immediately decided to buy one for his rifle.

Fast service easy install an a heck of a lot better trigger only one little problem the adj set screw for trigger had a plenty of loctite on it didn’t know if the Allen wrench would take it

  14. Ruben Hipolito

I ordered this trigger and got it a little slower than expected, but I blame COVID not RB. I have a technical inclination, but I’m not a very mechanical person. The instructions on this trigger were easy to follow. Like others, I put a little blue loctite on the jam nut for peace of mind. The trigger is very light and super crisp. No creep or over travel at all. I like that you can easily access the trigger adjustment screw when fully installed. No issues with the safety functioning if installed as instructed; I was even pushing on the cocking piece and banging the butt trying to see if it would misfire. I think the hardest part was torquing the bedding screw to the 95 inlbs. EXTREMELY pleased with this trigger and am excited to try it at the range.

I ordered this trigger in June and received it within two days–great service! I installed it and it’s an amazing transformation of my M77-MK11. The feel is great, superior even to the AccuTrigger on my four Savage bolt actions. I’m eager to take it to the range. Thanks for a great product.

  16. Thomas Stevenson

I installed this into my late model M77 Hawkeye in 30-06 on Saturday. I’m a reasonably decent mechanic and like to tinker with my own stuff. The installation instructions were easy to read and understand. The trigger works flawlessly after applying enough tension to overcome a slam fire when closing the bolt.

One thing I did was to add a medium thread locker to the backing nut on the safety stud. In the end it was me that felt better about that.

My Ruger has one heck of a nice trigger on it now!
