Just wanted to let you know that the sear replacement was a snap to do and made a world of difference. On one of the Ruger M77s I did, the pull went from a very stiff 6 1/4 pounds down to 2 1/2 pounds. The other 2 that I did improved equally. That was exactly what I was looking for. The rifles are a joy to shoot now. Thanks so much for making these.

After having bought one of your triggers for my CZ 455 several years ago, I finally decided to try to install it. You see, I’m one of those guys who could screw up an anvil, so attempting anything that involves mechanical ability scares me to death. After looking things over upon receiving the trigger, I decided I would put up with a heavy trigger pull rather than risk damaging the rifle with my non-existent mechanical skills.
The set triggers on my three CZ 527s are very light, and I finally decided I could no longer put up with the heavy trigger pull on my CZ 455. So I gave the installation a shot. The directions were spot on, and to my surprise the installation encountered no problems and went very smoothly. I now have a trigger pull that matches the light pulls on my CZ centerfires with no creep. It’s light years better than the factory trigger, and I wish I had known how easy it would be several years sooner. Many thanks for a great product and for making a barely shootable rifle so much better now.

I recently purchased a SAV2 trigger from an online retailer. Install was very straightforward, especially when following the step by step instructional video on the website. Unfortunately when I got to the point of installing the bolt back into the action, the sear wouldn’t quite get out of the way to allow the bolt through.
I called Rifle Basix and spoke with Jeff. He asked a few simple questions to gather details about my situation. That same day he sent me a replacement trigger that had some adjustments made to correct the issue at no cost to me. Round two went off without a hitch, adjusted everything right where I wanted it per the video. I’ve got it set to about 12oz and definitely does go lower if needed.

I have used the Sav-2 Trigger in my target rifle for a number of years and was very pleased with pull weight, crispness and overall function of this trigger. Recently, I attempted to install this model in my Savage Model 10 and encountered some fitting problems which were due to the actual measurements of the Action being somewhat different, not allowing this trigger to be installed without the bolt being allowed to be installed. After some conversations with the technical staff at Rifle Basix, the problem was resolved satisfactorily and I was really pleased with the results. I have told several of my friends and my gunsmith about the excellent customer service from Rifle Basix. I will be buying this product for my hunting rifle and will definitely continue to use this product. Instructions are excellent and the customer service is unparalleled. A great company with a great product and customer service. Thank you for everything.

I received the Rifle Basix trigger late yesterday, watched the DVD, and then installed & adjusted the trigger to 1.5 lbs. The trigger was easy to install, adjust, and I like the way the trigger breaks, feels, or whatever the term is? I own several rifles w/ Jewel triggers & will own several w/ Rifle Basix triggers before too long. Thank you for your rapid service & excellent product.

I installed one of your Marlin triggers on an old Marlin Model 80 that I purchased about 40 years ago, and it fits better than it does on my Model 880SQ. I suspect that these triggers may fit most every bolt-action Marlin since then.

Got the MAR-1 trigger today. Installing the trigger was a snap, and it adjusted great to 12 ozs. no creep. I posted a write up on GGVG about how great it was.

Peggy, Here’s the feedback for the CZ-527 trigger: 1. Very clear and unambiguous instructions, I’m a technical author and know good work when I see it! 2. No complaints with the unit, a good fit, good blade profile and it gives crisp, consistent release.

I just installed your adjustable trigger in an early 2000’s model 70 SA. After the factory trigger no being able to adjust under 3 lbs and the Timney completely failing because of lack of engagement to the cocking piece. (timney said that they have heard of this problem in a few other rifles of the same vintage) I did a bit more research and found your trigger. I wish I would of seen it first! The Timney customer service told me to remove the rear pin in the trigger housing and drill and tap the the receiver to put a screw in to secure the bolt stop. Then tighten up the front push bolt to engage the cocking piece further. I didn’t want to do this.
Your trigger dropped right in and adjusted to 1.7lbs and is Safe, crisp and dependable. Thank you for making a great product. I was smiling all night after I put it in and adjusted it. Thanks again.

Bought a Sav-1 for my savage Axis XP in 350 Legend and installed it without too much trouble. Sure is sweet! After shooting two shots under an inch left and high, I adjusted my scope and shot 2 shots with a one hole group at sixty yards on center and an inch high. Very Satisfied with the trigger.

I have a Ruger m77 in 7mm Rem Mag built around 1978 that is a beautiful rifle but the trigger was awful. The lowest I could get the adjustment to go was to about 5.5 lbs. The replacement sear that I got from Rifle Basix gave me the ability to get the trigger pull down to about 1.5 lbs. I can make it a little stiffer if I need to but I like it where it is. I was concerned about unintentional discharges but I have tested it and had no issues. All for much less than a full trigger job. Awesome product!

Recently Rifle Basix introduced the “SAV-2”, a three-lever design intended to be used in the four ounce to three pounds range. This is in my opinion the “Ne Plus Ultra” of after-market triggers for Savage rifles. It is completely satisfactory and when set at four ounces I can’t tell the difference when compared to my two ounce triggers on other rifles. Perhaps a younger shooter with better tactile facility can detect a difference, but if there is any, it is of no real consequence. This mechanism is a true “drop-in” and installation is facilitated by the accompanying CD-ROM. It has thirty two minutes of instruction on how to correctly remove the Savage trigger and replace it with the “SAV-2”, detailing all the tools and the order of assembly. A person would have to be a perfect “Klutz” to not be able to do it right. The design is extremely clever, as the trigger lever is provided with three possible pivot locations depending on the weight of pull desired, also different strength springs included. I will get one for my forty-year old 222 1/2 caliber rifle.

I have the honor of having the first Rifle Basix trigger for Ruger and I have been using it for well over a year now. I have it adjusted to just several oz., maybe 4 or so. I have varmint rifles in 223, 25-06, 6.5-284, 308, and 7mm Mag with Jewel and Timney triggers. I would gladly sell them all and use Rifle Basix triggers in all of them. The pull is always crisp with no creep, they pull the same shot after shot. There is no better trigger on the market than RB period. Try one you will not be disappointed.
