Great product. Very impressed with the trigger pull improvement. The instructions though could be improved a small bit to detail the offset nature of the safety pin. Took me a minute to figure that out but others might have an issue. Other than that I was very happy with the product and highly reccommend it and will purchase another should I require one.

From a performance standpoint, this is a 5 Star product. Installation was a 4 Star. I have an older All Weather M77/17 HMR with a factory laminate stock. Install is easy enough but the safety adjustment screw was too long. It contacted the inside edge of the wood stock so the trigger would not operate after installing it into the stock. After figuring this out, I cut some length off the safety adjustment screw with a small Dremel wheel, reblued the screw and rust proofed it. Maybe my gun was an anomaly or it is the laminate stock possibly. But what an outstanding improvement though. Before install, my trigger pull was 3lb 11oz and after install, I was able to set the pull at an average of 1lb 13oz. Very crisp break and no noticeable travel. The sear surface is nicely polished as well. This trigger really makes Ruger’s factory trigger look bad. I thought it was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. This is a good looking trigger, polished sear surface, screw adjustable poundage screw and improve springdesign. Well done.

Trigger went in fairly easy. Follow the instructions closely though. I did have to take a correct size drill bit to smooth out the inside of the hole for where the trigger mounts. Just a lite spin of the bit and all good. Trigger is absolutely amazing with crisp 2lb pull and no over travel.

Just installed a ru-r in my ruger 77/22 in 22mag. Huge improvement! The factory trigger pull was almost 6lbs. I now have it set at 1 1/2 pounds. No take up or over travel with the ru-r. Probably the easiest trigger I’ve ever installed. It’s a true drop in trigger. Took 20-30 minutes start to finish. The directions are very clear with plenty of good pictures to help. I called before ordering to make sure I ordered the correct trigger and the gentleman I talked to was friendly extremely knowledge and very helpful. Im definitely gonna be buying some more Rifle Basix products. Thanks Rifle Basix for making a great American make product!

I ordered two of these triggers to try in the new 77/17 17 wsm. One rifle was breaking at just over 5 lbs and the other a massive 7 lbs! A new trigger for both rifles was in order! These triggers indeed fit the new 17 wsm 77/17 rifles and the install is simple. These rifles use extremely strong striker springs so trigger pull weight will be around 1.5 to 1.75 lbs on the lowest setting. The rifle basix is worlds better than the factory trigger in every aspect. Creep free with an exceptional break. Don’t waste money on an aftermarket sear or springs, do it right the first time and drop in a basix!
