I first began using rifle basix triggers for benchrest 22LR competitions in my CZ 452 and 453 rifles. 20 odd years later and they’re still in use. I didn’t hesitate ordering and installing this 700 type trigger in a Bergara BMR chambered in 22LR. No need for a bolt release, the Bergara has its own.No need for a manual safety on my target rifles. Installation is just as it would in a Remington 700, no surprises. As received the trigger breaks cleanly at 170 grams as measured using an OHBA SIKI scale. That’s just under 6 ounces. The only thing I have to adjust is the over travel. At 6 ounces it’s hardly noticeable, but it is there when installed. I’ve had out on the bench a half dozen times now, and it has been flawless. For my application, I’m every bit as satisfied with this Rifle Basix 700 type trigger as I’ve previously been with the now defunct Jewell brand triggers in my older Remington 700 centerfire rifles.

This purchase gave me the entire RB experience. I started by reaching out to them in regards to my specific needs. I am beginning to ARA matches and I purchased a Bergara Carbon BMR. I was curious to know what they recommended for this purchase. One of their techs reached out to me and committed to tuning one in for my needs. Unfortunately, I ordered the non-safety lever version thinking I needed to transfer the lever myself. I emailed the tech and he offered to send me the right model after I returned the one I received. A week later my new tuned trigger arrived. I installed it myself and was nothing short of amazed by the trigger. It is very light and very crisp. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rifle Basix to anyone I know.
